Oceans have ever since been used as trashcans. Maybe we can not prevent people, companies or countries from doing so - maybe we can. A small step would be to just start cleaning the ocean right where you live. So we recommand for the next year: get your friends together or try a fleshmop of people wanting to clean the beach. Ask the local diving club, the kindergarden, the tourists, the city or a municipal waste disposal for support.
